Nicolas Feuillatte

Discover Nicolas Feuillatte: Champagne with a Modern Spirit and a Classic Soul

In the landscape of Champagne, few names capture both heritage and forward-thinking as clearly as Nicolas Feuillatte.

Founded in 1976 by Nicolas Feuillatte — a Paris-born entrepreneur with a background in global trade — the brand began as a small-scale project intended for his American friends. Its commercial success was immediate, and just a decade later, in 1986, the brand was acquired by the Centre Vinicole de la Champagne. While Feuillatte handed over the reins, he remained an ambassador for the house, known for his energy, innovation, and instinct for building something enduring.

Behind the scenes, a different yet equally influential figure helped shape the foundation: Henri Macquart, a respected leader in the Champagne region and advocate for grower solidarity. His vision and leadership led to the creation of the Centre Vinicole in 1972 — laying the groundwork for what would become one of the most recognised Champagne houses in the world.

Style & Craftsmanship

Nicolas Feuillatte Champagnes are known for their harmony, finesse, and freshness — hallmarks of the Champagne region, expressed through expert blending and a wide variety of grape origins. The house draws from a broad mosaic of soils and crus, including a meticulous selection of Grand Cru and Premier Cru sites. Each grape is vinified individually by area and variety, offering flexibility and nuance in the final blends.

From the vibrant Brut Réserve to the refined Palmes d’Or, the style is fruit-forward, clean, and versatile, appealing to both seasoned Champagne drinkers and those new to sparkling wine.
